The petitioner's lawyer Shahab Imam Advocate argued that the Speaker National Assembly did not complete the process of approving the resignations according to the law. The petitioner's counsel said that the Speaker cannot accept the resignation without hearing the members. The Lahore High Court suspended the order to accept the resignation of 43 MNAs of Tehreek-e-Insaf, the court issued notices to the Election Commission and other parties and suspended the by-elections in 43 constituencies for the second time. It should be remembered that PTI challenged the move of accepting the resignation of 43 ex-members of the National Assembly in the court and an application was filed.
