Islamabad (News Latest. 22 February 2022) The Chief Justice of Pakistan has automatically taken notice of the date of elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Chief Justice has established a 9-member bench regarding the date of elections. Date and responsibility will be decided. According to media reports, the Chief Justice of Pakistan has taken notice of the election of 2 provincial assemblies, under which a 9-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan has been formed. The larger bench will hear the case tomorrow at 2 pm. .
In the bench, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Atharmanullah, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel are also included in the larger bench. Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Syed Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi are also included.
It has been reported that the Chief Justice will put three questions before the Supreme Court bench that after the dissolution of the Assembly, whose responsibility is it to give the date of elections? When and how to pay the responsibility of general elections? What are the responsibilities of the federation and the provinces regarding general elections?
